How to Use Smartphone for AI — Get Your Phone Ready First
7 September 2026 · 4 min padhai
How to use smartphone for AI: the settings, permissions, storage and Google account you need before opening ChatGPT. Simple checklist in 5 languages.
Before you learn AI, make your phone AI-ready
Thousands of people teach 'learn AI'. Very few say the honest thing first: an AI app can only do as much as your phone allows it to do.
If storage permission is off, you cannot upload a photo. If you have no Google account on the phone, you cannot sign in. If you do not know where Downloads is, you cannot find what the AI gave you.
The five-point readiness check
1. A Google account signed in on the phone. 2. Some free storage space. 3. Photos and Files permission allowed for the AI app. 4. You know where the Downloads folder is. 5. Your passwords are saved somewhere safe, not on paper.
Each of these takes two minutes and is a separate lesson in Phone Pathshala.
Then the first AI steps feel easy
With the checklist done, the four AI lessons — install the app, write a good prompt, upload a photo, save the AI's picture to your gallery — take one evening, not one month.
Start with the eight readiness lessons, then move to the four AI lessons. That order is the shortcut.
