Learn AI for job hunting in 30 days: week-by-week plan covering phone basics, ChatGPT prompts, resume, email and interview practice. Free to start.
Why 30 days is enough
You do not need to become an AI engineer. Employers want people who can use AI for everyday office work — emails, summaries, resumes, data checks. That skill set takes about 30 days of 20-minute daily practice.
The plan below assumes only a smartphone. No laptop, no coding, no paid tools.
Week 1 — get your phone AI-ready
Days 1-3: install ChatGPT or Gemini, sign in with Gmail, and learn to type or speak a question. Days 4-7: learn the phone basics AI apps need — finding files, taking screenshots, saving a PDF, copying and pasting text.
If any of these feel shaky, the two free demo lessons on this site (Download an AI App, Writing a Prompt) cover them in minutes.
Week 2 — daily office skills
Practise one real task a day: write an email, summarise a long message, make a to-do list, draft a WhatsApp reply to a customer, convert rough notes into clean minutes.
Rule of the week: always give the AI your rough version first. AI improves your draft; it should not replace your thinking.
Week 3 — resume and applications
Use AI to rewrite your resume: "Rewrite my resume for the post of [job]. Add these AI skills honestly: email drafting with ChatGPT, report summaries, data checking. Here is my current resume: [paste]."
Prepare a fresh, tailored resume for each application instead of sending the same file everywhere.
Week 4 — interviews and proof
Do daily mock interviews with the AI interviewer prompt. By day 30, prepare one live demonstration: drafting an email or summarising a document on your phone in front of the interviewer.
That 60-second demonstration is what separates you from every other candidate who only wrote 'AI skills' on paper.
